“The Cherrys” by Meadham Kirchhoff is as packed with fantasy and whimsy as you’d hope for when dreaming up a second collaboration from the two Brit powerhouses. Disco shoes with monster teeth and folk inspired knit work make up most of my favorite pieces –can you believe those even exist in the same collection? According to Elle UK, “The Cherrys” is inspired by a fictional band of that name and will feature 80 pieces. Influences include Marilyn Manson and glam rock.
“The industry has become dictatorial,” Edward Meadham says. “All we ask is that we can show our clothes exactly how we want to, exactly how it comes out of us. What people make of it after that is up to them.” Everything is scheduled hit Topshop stores on Nov. 21 and I can’t wait, wby?
